Show Cattle - A beautiful 15 month old black Limousin crossed heifer sired by Glenrock Humdinger from C R Raine & Son, Stanhope Gate, Middleton-in-Teesdale caught the eye of our judge Elaine Sedgewick of Durham and was rightfully presented with the tri coloured rosette, some strong classes were expertly placed by our more than capable judge and no doubt was cast from the onlookers that the best beast won on the day. A valiant effort, however not quite managing to defend his 2019 title, came from James Bailey of Ivanhoe Livestock as he was awarded the reserve championship with a smart 9 month old British Blue crossed steer; all of the top three young bull rosettes made the long journey north from Bradford worthwhile for J R Clayton, Bentley Farm.
