Construction of the Brand New “Humbleton Park Auction Centre” (HPAC) is now underway within Humbleton Park. The 52 week build program commenced on Monday the 29th of April 2019. The company is proud to announce that works have begun onsite, we look forward in being able to offer a new state of the art
Auction, Business & Conference Centre catering for the rural community and other sectors of Business.
The Building will offer two Livestock Auction Rings, with all livestock facilities needed to conduct Livestock Society Sales. The Land Agency will have a brand new office catering for the growing numbers of Land Agents, Surveyors and associated staffs, the Accountancy Business will move from its current location within Darlington town centre to the New Centre.
Conference and Meeting rooms have been incorporated within the building catering for the needs of all business sectors that require those quiet areas for private meetings for small numbers of delegates but also equally the building will offer an area capable of holding conferences for up to 250 delegates at one event.
The restaurant/café will be modern, efficient and supported by a commercial kitchen catering for the needs of the Conference centre, letting units and the volumes of daily customers visiting the centre.
The 25 acre site will have a designated area constructed for the every growing Vehicle, Farm Machinery, Plant & Construction Equipment Auctions.
This area will be security fenced and have 24/7 camera security.
Within the Concourse of the Building there are 10 internal letting units varying in size catering for the Agri Businesses associated to the industry.
The 25 acre site is located 2 mins off Junction 58 of the A1, to the east of the A68, this location lends itself ideally to this development and the future needs of many other business sectors.
Hall Construction are the firm chosen to work with DFAM in the construction of the new state of the art Auction & Business Centre.
DFAM look forward to working with Hall Construction over the next 12 months in bringing this new centre out of the ground and to life.

Teams at Hall’s, DFAM and IAE are now liaising daily as the penning within the mart goes through its final stages. Progress of the build remains ahead of schedule.
The new build continues at speed, within the last week the lairage building has been erected and the concrete panels installed. The penning area has seen the roof sheet installation begin and we
remain ahead of schedule.
Tuesday of this week some of our team embarked on a whistle stop tour of other Marts throughout Northern England and Scotland investi-gating concrete finishes and patterns.

Darlington Farmers Auction Mart Farmstock Business dates back to 1887. Darlington town being in the heart of County Durham, the auction mart being a formidable Auction Centre in the North East of England. DFAM is served on weekly basis by livestock from all surrounding counties of North Yorkshire, Northumberland, Cumbria and further afield handling in excess of 250,000 head of livestock annually.
The company currently operates out of the site on Clifton Road within the Darlington town boundary, DFAM is currently well into plans for relocation to Humbleton Farm West Auckland Road on the A68 off junction 58 of the A1(M) building a state of the art Auction Centre and Business Park.
DFAM is supported by its subsidiary companies of Vickers and Barrass Chartered surveyors operating from two offices, Tow Law and the main office in Darlington Mart. Also Inspire Solutions Chartered Accountants operating from Victoria Building Elwin road in Darlington and Darlington Mart office.
The high standard of service provided by DFAM has increased our customer base year on year, our motto of ‘’bringing buyers and sellers together’’ gives the basis of providing a professional, functional and modern service.
Year on Year new and innovative sales are included into the sales calendar as to evolve with British agriculture as we work together through this modern day.
In addition, on farm sales can be arranged and it is worth noting that Darlington Farmers Auction Mart don't just auction livestock - agricultural machinery, commercial vehicles, plant and implement auctions are held on a regular basis at the Humbleton Farm site and sites of Vendors choice.
